What happens when there is nothing left? AI making vast leaps where job markets are changing, supermarkets are introducing facial scanning and the local food supplies are struggling. Why is it so hard for small farms and local growers to connect directly with the people who live right on their doorstep?
We spent many months visiting small farms, allotments and market gardens across the UK. One thing became clear:
People are really struggling, growers were working incredibly hard…but no one knew how to meet the people who produce their food at affordable prices-others were taking the lion’s share.
Rising costs, long supply chains, slim margins, increasing taxes made it tough for the buyer and tough for small producers to thrive.
And at the same time? Families wanted fresh, local food-without supermarket prices, with more info about their food and less privacy invasive practices.
What if we cut out the middle-man entirely? A place where farmers could sell directly to their local community. A place where buyers could shop seasonal, fresh and affordable-straight from source – reduce unnecessary food miles, remove the friction, remove the uncertainty and add other tools to strengthen the ethos… all for free!
We built a simple platform with one goal:
Connect local farms with local people. No complicated contracts. No unnecessary mark-ups. We do not profit from the transaction, we simply provide the connection – Just real food from real growers.
Well… Food across the world is going up drastically in price and it is because of a few key elements: Unfit officials making dangerous geopolitical decisions. A complete relinquishing of responsibility of our food sovereignty. A culture where people need help to reconnect with their roots.

Our dream is for every neighbourhood to have multiple micro allotments in back gardens, with local growers distributing food whilst supporting the more established local food stores and farmers without having to use the major players to distribute food.
